Hello!
This page contains information you need regarding the 2025-26 School Year. Please check back occasionally as it will be periodically updated.
STEP 1: Please take time to read through the information on these pages of the website. It is important to be familiar with this content. Please reach out if you have any questions.
STEP 2: After (re)acquainting yourself with the information linked above, please fill out this form* with your availability for the 2025-26 School Year. Families with multiple students in the same block of lesson time need only fill it out once for all. Families with members at different lesson times need to fill it our once per student. Please respond no later than July 15th 2025. Due to reduced after school availability in Bloomington I cannot guarantee space for those who reply late, and may even need to schedule based on order in which responses are received.
The form will send you a confirmation email including a link to view/edit your responses. Should your availability change at any time in the year, please search your email for the automatic message from “Google Forms” forms-receipts-noreply@google.com and edit your responses. (Depending on your email settings, this may get sorted to your "spam" or "junk" folder, or something other than your inbox.)
*Note: where the form says "Full Availability" that means earliest possible to latest possible. There is then space to add your top preferences out of your full availability, and comments. You can also put "NA" if you're not available a particular day or at the location I'm teaching at in person that day.
I cannot stress enough how important it is to put the widest availability possible and be as flexible as you can.
~ I'm not taking new students in Bloomington, and my availability there is reduced from 4 to 3 days a week.
~ As was previously shared, I still need between 1-3 Bloomington students with afterschool lesson times to choose another direction. It's not personal, and I'm not trying to "get rid" of anyone, I just need a new balance to my schedule, which means one less day and several fewer students in Bloomington. I'm more than happy to share recommendations for other teachers you may wish to consider studying with.
~ Students who are not in school during the day - homeschool, college, adult, etc. need to have lessons that finish no later than 3:30 (This applies to all lesson modalities - Bloomington, Plainfield, and Zoom.)
~ We'll will need to work together to fit everyone in - some may need to pick children up from school and come directly to lesson so as to be earliest, and some middle or high school students may need to take later evening times.
